The Journey Begins
And so it begins, a new journey. Or is it? I think I’ve been on this journey all along. Real Estate is definitely not new to me. I purchased my first home at the ripe young age of 25, all the way back in 1999. That feels like so long ago. And now I own four properties. Three rentals and one primary.
As I found myself in a position to reinvent myself yet again, diving head first into real estate felt like a natural move for me. I have always had intentions of adding to our rental portfolio, but I had never envisioned it being my primary focus. So I figured I’d get my broker license and see where it takes me.
My long term goals remain the same. I want to focus on the investment aspect of real estate and continue to build wealth and multiple streams of income. But while I do that, I intend on helping others buy and sell houses. Ideally, I would like to work with others that are interested in exploring investment opportunities in real estate.
Through this blog, I intend to share my thoughts and ideas in the investment space as well as thoughts on all things home ownership.
I certainly won’t pretend to be an expert here. This will not be a “Let Me Show You How It’s Done” blog. I hope to reach like minded investors of all experience levels. If you’re looking for advice or help identifying income generating properties, maybe I can help!
If you have years of experience and feel you may have something to share, drop a comment. Let’s talk about it. I am always looking to learn. I hope that I never lose that desire, too.
From time to time, I may just use this blog to brag about what makes the Tri-cities/Fox Valley/Western Suburbs so great! I want to try to be informative, helpful, and fun. As much as possible.
So tune in. Join me in this new journey. I hope you get as much out of it as I intend to get.
Cheers!
